17 May 1996
Dr Peter Botha was appointed as the first CEO of NHN.
11 June 1996
The NHN logo was designed and adopted for use.
1 August 1996
On 11 June 1996 the lease agreement was signed for offices, 5th Floor Sandton City Office Tower. NHN moves into these offices on the 1st of August 1996.
27 November 1996
NHN held its first workshop on Wednesday, 27 November 1996 at the Karos Indaba Hotel.
